ごめんね!
Oct/29/09 Thursday
The Japanese characters above means “Sorry”. It is
read “gomen ne”. I’m apologizing for not writing an
entry in the past month and a half. In the last month
or so I have been coming home very tired. Going to
work full time and attending school after is very
draining. However, I’m pretty happy that I finished
the quarter yesterday. I will have a few breather
weeks before the next quarter starts. There are few
major events that happened in the past month and a
half. The first I’d like to mention is that we have a
new addition to the family. Her name is Toffee.

We found her at a local garage sale for sale. When we found her she was in a poor condition. She literally had hundreds of fleas all over her. I had to do a submersion bath to drown all the fleas. She also had an ear infection. We decided to take her home so that she can have a better place to live. Not to mention that she is also very cute. When we first took her home she was less than 5 months old. She was scared of everything. She finally started getting along with Teddy after the first day at our place.
During my short leave from blogging, Hiroko had an eye lid surgery. Sadly she suffered from lower eye lashes that grow up instead of out, poking her eye. She had it performed so that she can have the Lasik procedure during thanks giving. Here is a picture of her with sutures in her lower eye lids.
Josh, took off to Mozambique a few weeks back. He is now serving for Peace Corp doing a whole lot of good things. Hope he has a good time. He has been wanting to go ever since I can remember. Here is the a picture of us at his house. It was his going away party.
Of course there are a lot of other little things that happened, but I can’t remember them right now. I will be posting more as the winter season gets closer. There are many snow and climbing adventures planned. Next week I’ll be going to Minneapolis, MN. Weather.com says its going to be a chilly 32 degrees. Yay!
