Happy Turkey Day

The well needed Turkey Day is just around the corner, tomorrow to be exact. A longer enjoyable weekend at the expense of turkeys. I can’t wait. These past two weeks have been pretty busy. With work and with stuff that are happening. Work like always is work. Even though I enjoy it, it drains me. Driving from work at Mad Rock to work at APU sometime becomes tedious and tiring. I wish I was able to take a mid day nap. On top of that last tuesday, on the way back from Hanger 18, I ran over something large and heavy on the freeway. It gave me a flat and destroyed one of my rims on the Ridgeline. Now, I’m driving on one spare. Over the course of these two weeks I have been hunting down parts to get my wheels replaced and my tires changed. Since its a 4x4 i need to change all 4 tire. Truck tires are expensive. Since my Ridgeline had special rims, I have to replace all of them to get it to match. I joined some forum and purchased what I needed from people online. This last weekend Me, Hiroko Otsuka Hsieh, and Kenny Hsieh drove down to Livermore to pick up two sets of tires. On the way down we stopped at Gilroy (Garlic City), Monterey Bay, Laguna Seca, SPCA, a yard sale. We then drove down the Hwy 1 and stopped at SLO to have dinner with Joshua Echi. We left Saturday night at 6pm and came back sunday night at 10pm. We put over 900 miles on that trip.
Another even worth mentioning is Le Femme. It is a formal dance hosted by the office of communiversity, which I work for. Le Femme was held on the Queen Mary. The even really well, but me and Hiroko were extreme tired from a long days work. That made it hard for us to enjoy the dancing. What I enjoyed most about Le Femme was when Me, Hiroko Otsuka Hsieh, Jordy Dickey, Kenton Lawson, and Ben Helms went to look for the “haunted pool”. As we searched the ship in places we were not supposed to go, we stumble on many things. We snuck around in a haunted maze, with zombies, and monsters, while avoiding getting caught by security. In the end, after some getting lost in the depths of the ship we found it. It was kind of creepy. Hiroko was very upset at me because I pushed her to come with me. She really hates messing around with the spiritual type things. I felt bad, but really enjoyed to have her with me.
Two weeks ago, we also had the chance to go to New Jack City. I’ll be going there again for Thanks Giving.

Happy Thanks Giving Everyone.

Awesome Start to November

My last entry was in October. I have been pretty busy, so I really hadn’t had the time to edit pictures and update the blog. However, I finally had a bit of time to sit down and get this out. Though it has been very busy, I can’t complain. I actually need to thank God for the awesome start to November. This month started with an APU Outdoor Adventures trip down to La Jolla. Once again some Kayaking in the near the caves which I’ve done many times before. What made this trip so great was that the water was placid and clear as glass. We can easily see over 50 feet. We saw fishes and lots of sharks swimming just feet from us. We then spent the evening in Gas Lamp checking out the night life. Sara and Josh Morral came down and hung out with us for a little bit. Some snorkeling the next day and we were home. Here is where it gets better. I got the day off on Tuesday, drove down to San Diego, and picked myself up a new Truck. Its not any O’ truck, but a Honda Ridgeline. Ooh.. ooh sexy. Got it used at an awesome deal, but it looked, felt, smelled brand new.. This saturday, I went up to the tramway with Marty, Mike and friend, and Kenny to do some climbing. I was able to send nearly everything I got on 2 V7s and 1 V6 and added them my tick list..Swing Dance V7, Blue Flame V7, and Power Windows V6 (which I think is hardest of the 3). Anyways... Today was good Sunday, went to church, to the airport to pick up a family friends, then a family car wash.. that was pretty fun..
