Wilson's Heavy Service

This morning we got a text from Wilson Wang. It
reads, “good morning :) please pray for me, I’m
preaching today on a pretty heavy topic. hope u can
make it out.” Me and Hiroko kept on trying to guess
what the message was about. What is so heavy on his
heart? Wilson’s sermon was on the topic of Judging
others. The premise of the Sermon is that judging is
an act we should avoid. We can see this spelled out
in Matthew 7:1-6. However, confrontation of someone’s
wrong doing is good. We can see this in Matthew
18:15. The difference lies in the motives. When
judging someone we are typically gossiping or lifting
ourselves above them, however when confronting we are
approaching with the motive of restoration. There are
many things that I need to work on and this is one of
them.
