In Vegas with the Batdorjs
Mar/21/10 Sunday
Weeks ago we planned this trip to Vegas. Red Rock
Rendezvous was happening the same weekend so Me and
Hiroko had plans to head out there. This time though
we were lucky to be accompanied by the Batdorjs, an
inseparable mom and daughter combo of sweetness.
Chimgee and her mom has never been to Vegas so we,
Hiroko and I, were excited to show them around. Lucky
for us, Michellle Su, of South Point comped our rooms
for the weekend. Saturday, we went climbing at Red
Rocks in the Morning and Blue Men Group in the
evening. Urna, Chimgee’s mom, shopped most of the
day. Kenny Suh recommended a different Thai place so
we went there for dinner. Sunday morning we slept in
a bit longer for we only had 5 hours of sleep the
previous night due to a long fun conversation. For
brunch we went to Paris Casino’s Cafe/Buffet for
Champagne Brunch. We then spent the rest of the day
shopping at Primm outlet and working out way back
home.
Early saturday morning (about 2 am early) Chimgee, Urna, Hiroko and I

Ernest's Birthday Gift
Mar/16/10 Tuesday
For Ernest’s last birthday gift we got him a sailing
lesson with South Bay Sailing. His birthday past many
many months ago, but we never got the chance to use
the Groupon we got for him. Nearly a half a year went
by before we scheduled a time to set sail. However,
our first date, February 27th, was needed a rain
check tsunami warnings. Our second date was set a
week later on saturday which was cancelled due to
rain. Finally, this last weekend on the 13th were we
able to get out and do some sailing. Over all Me and
Ernest has a great time learning a little about
sailing. Hiroko on the other hand had a great 10
minutes then fell into deep suffering due to motion
sickness. We had scheduled for 2 hrs of sailing, but
we had to call it in early. Too bad we forgot to get
the motion sickness pills because we were running
late. Wes the instructor/captain was great.
Informative, Funny, and great to chat with while
sailing. I would definitely recommend you give them a
call if you are ever interested in sailing. Check out
their website if you get the chance http://www.southbaysailing.com/.
After the sailings we headed down to Captain
Kids and had ourselves some fish and chips with
clam chowder followed by a nice sunset.
Just set sail.
