Yout may have notice that Thursday’s title read Diana’s Birthday. However, her friends didn’t really get to celebrate it with her. Michael Lee, kept her to himself that night. Today is her celebration. We headed out the K town for dinner. Unfortunatly we had to settle for overpriced mediocre Korean/Japanese food since Zip, the resturant we planned to eat at, was closed. After dinner is when the celebration really started. Diana and her passe rolled down to Vanguard to spend the rest of the night. Lets just say we didn’t get home till about 2:45am. When we got to the club we rolled in with VIP status. We had our own table and feel like we ran the place, sorta... haha.. lots of drinks went around ... people started to loosen up.. while i enjoyed thier presence being their DD. At the V I met people I haven’t seen for a long time. Willy was one of them. Man.. he seem to be doing good for himself. Hiroko had an interesting night too.. ask her sometime. Smile*

Good Friend, My Wife, and I

The plan was to go surfing bright and early in the morning. When I woke up, however, I remembered a very important thing. I cannot get water into my eyes for the first month. It has only been two weeks. Instead Ernest and I decied to just hang out. We had lunch and decided that we wonted to head to a camera store in Little Tokyo. This was a great chance to stop by and say hi to Diana Reyes since today is her 23rd birhtday. We made noted that she is turning 23 a few month before Michael.. its a trend for guys to date older ladies now. anyways... We head down to the hotel she worked at and hung out at the local starbucks. After we departed with Diana, Me and Ernest strolled arounded Little Tokyo Area. Later tonight we came back for dinner. Hiroko and I really felt for something western and wanted to get out of the Hacienda Heights area. So we headed back down to LT and ate italian. yum yum..

Things happened in the last two months and I haven’t been able to keept this updated. Partly due to lack of computer use due to lack of internet and partly due to computer defect. Either way.. I’m back into a serviced area with my computer now fixed. Last week school officially started. Everyone from the YEMBA and HROD program met each other in Malibu’s Salvation Army Camp. Going to class then finishing usually at the bars of malibu and santa monica. Either way it was a blast.
During the Weekend we were blessed with REI used gear sale once again. Though the attendence was low we still had a blast. Josh Rodger, Bailey, Hiroko and I were the 3rd group there. Though we didn’t do any serious shoping we still had som big budget items such as the GPS, which replaced the one that got blown off the mountain.
Tonight we had a desert/chat thing with the Turners. It was nice talking about differnt things and seeing them with their son. Was lucky to be able to snap a few pictures.. We talked about couseling and dual relationsihp issues.. and relationships and therapy as well as how Jesus got it right from the beginning. Nice talks.

Yesterday, I went under the laser to rid my need of contacts and glasses. The very short procedure left me blind for the rest of the day. Today was the first day I had the chance to test my newly repaired eyes. Results are fantastic so far, at 20/20. It is still fuzzy at times because I see glare and starburst, but the doc said it will improve over the next few weeks.

Every year in Hacienda Heights there is a carnival at a church on turnbul Rd. Today me and Hiroko had the chance to go and have a quick short date. Due to my surgery I wasn't able to get on any of the rides that had any sort of excitement so instead we went on the ferris wheel and wondered the mirror maze. Though the carnival was small we still had a blast just hanging out and talking.

Today Hiroko was in the worship band again. Tuesday night she had practice and today she left a bit earlier to practice before church service. When I woke up at 8:30am thinking it was 9:30, I created some extra time during the morning. I decided to head down to New community a bit earlier to see them practice. Whenever I see Hiroko sing I'm surprised. I keep forgetting how well she sings.

Last entry I talked a little about our new guest. He has been making himself at home in our home and pooing everywhere. We have been padding everything with new papers to help keep cleaning to a minimum. However, since she is allowed to fly anywhere in the house, she has developed a anger issue. She would randomly attacked the guys in the house. We believe that he is jealous, because he likes my mom and hiroko. Just the other day and today she would fly towards me and attack me. She only does it when the ladies are around. As punishment we put her in a basket for time out. We figured we need to get him a cage to keep him in; letting him come out when he is good. We found it on craigslist. It looks like something from a 19th century haunted mansion. Hope he enjoys it and we can start learning how to get along with this parrot.

one more thing... we bought a bread machine the other day. Tonight is the first night we are using it. If all goes well, 7:00 in the morning tomorrow, we'll have a freshly baked banana honey wheat bread.
