Busy
Dec/16/09 Wednesday
Working full time and going to school is taxing.
Attending the class is tiring, but what is difficult
is finding time for the homework and studying needed
to pass with an A. I’ve been trying to juggle school
and leisure and school is winning. However, over the
last week, I have had the chance to go snowboarding 3
times already. We had a week of storm that put the
first snow of the season on our local mountains.
Hiroko is doing much better with altitude this
season. We are hoping that when we head to Mammoth
that we’ll be able to have a full day without AMS
(acute mountain sickness) affecting our day. This
season is the season for park. I have been working on
jumps and boxes. Though I would consider myself still
a novice, I’m getting to medium size jumps.
Yesterday, Hiroko and I went to watch the LA Philharmonics at the Disney Concert Hall. It was a performance of the Handel’s Messiah. Though I did enjoy it, it was also a struggle. We both had a long day and staying awake was very difficult.

I would have provided my own pictures but I lost the charger to my camera. Sadly I haven’t been able to take picture with a dead battery.
Hiroko was very excited about getting a Christmas tree, so we went and purchased on at the Puente Hill’s Mall’s parking lot. We got this little 4 footer. We started putting presents under it. Hiroko loves Christmas. She want to get lights soon and throw them on so we can have a fully featured tree. Can’t wait to see her smile when Christmas comes around.
